I did another original character of mine which was Stri. She is the sweetie of my twin sisters. She is the daughter of the Egyptian Goddess Sekhmet. Shawna custom made the ears and tail for me.
The first of many moogles! The ball we are very proud of. Made out of construction grade wire, styrofoam ball, and red feathers. My sister made a more sexy tribal moogle for herself. The funny thing was people knowing what she was from a mile away with the big red ball bouncing above her head!
One of the earlier costumes. Hannah got the black face paint for this day. She tried to make a hoop outfit buut it didn't go as expected. She also had a backpack that she put cardboard around making it the coal she carried on her back.
For Shawna's first con she did all her own characters. This was her army chick Tawny. We learned this year that you needed something more specific with original characters that had enough details people knew they had to be from something.

This was also the year that was discovered that you didn't always need to color cordinate your entire face to your costume...AKA white face paint on moogle is creepy >.>
